Experience

David has over 6 years of entrepreneurial experience. After spending over a decade working on and managing sites, he decided to return to college and obtain an engineering degree, leading him to develop an interest in renewable energy and begin his most successful business venture to date. The company had a 2 million turnover in its first year, with an expected 2 million increase in turnover per year going forward.

Field of expertise

David’s main strengths lie in the construction and renewable energy sectors, with over 20 years experience in the field, multiple qualifications in areas such as health and safety training, pvsol, pylon, vandervalk systems and a BSc in Engineering. He is also well educated in the areas of company policy and procedures, site specific health and safety statements, company safety statements and risk assessments among other things. His strengths include building networks and partnerships with large multinational companies.

In what can I help you?

I can help you in a number of areas, from pitching business ideas, thoroughly thinking through the workability of an idea, accessing Ireland’s entrepreneurial aids and grants and anything else you may need to get on your feet. I have a lot of experience dealing with the realities of running a company - specifically the mountain of policies that need to be put in place and the importance of building a team with good communication and similar goals. I am a no-nonsense type of person and will tell you what you need to hear and what you need to get done to take your venture to the next level. I believe in helping you to help yourself, teach you how to find the information and how to utilize it so that you can keep on moving forward after our sessions.
